Review of Iron Man 3 (2013) by Matt L — 31 Aug 2014

This is a fun, entertaining film. Not as good as the first one, a bit better than the second. It's not a perfect film, the Mandarin twist about halfway through was a real disappointment and took me out of the movie completely.

Kingsley was in the midst of a great sinister performance, I was very excited to see that explored. That being said I didn't mind Pearce being the heavy. I didn't like how Tony's suits fell apart so easily, I think in Avengers he takes a direct hit from Thor's hammer - poor continuity.

I still can't figure out why he had no suits available until the end then we suddenly had 50 at his disposal. This is a good, not great film.
