Review of Iron Man 3 (2013) by Ross C — 11 Jan 2015
Striking a unique balance between a strong character piece and a stylish action thriller, Shane Black and Robert Downey Jr. push the bounds of how superhero stories are told, even with a somewhat clashing of light and dark tones and a twist that works, but is none the less very jarring.
The action finale is one of the most spectacular in years.
