Review of Iron Man 3 (2013) by Armchair O — 13 Sep 2015
The plot is the darkest and most complex yet in this trilogy while also the best crafted, the cast is excellent as ever (led by Robert Downey Jr's most confident rendition of the title character to date and supported by one surprising Ben Kingsley), both the action scenes and its humor are lightly improved thanks to Shane Black's direction and, lastly, the main villain is the best yet out of the three (even if the plot twist breaks completely with the essence of the original from the comics).
In the end, "Iron Man 3", while not perfect, is the most confident and best crafted film of this now iconic character.
