I think I loved this a lot more than most will, possibly more than it deserves, since there are a lot of plot holes and CGI battling robots. But where Shane Black's fingerprints shine through, I really enjoyed myself.
He somehow shoved elements of a haphazard, buddy cop/detective film into an Iron Man movie with a fire-breathing Guy Pierce. The strange spectacle is very entertaining.
