Review of Iron Man 3 (2013) by Louis-Antoine H — 09 Aug 2014
It was good, but I was bothered by internal inconsistencies between the Iron man films, of which the first was easily the best. Some major plot holes are present in this one, e.g. why he needs to wall-charge the suit which is powered by the practically infinite energy source on his chest (the suit losing power was a plot device in Iron Man, but he was using a tremendously inferior power source since his real source was stolen.
And then in Iron Man 2, which, don't get me wrong, had problems of its own, he exponentially improved that technology by developing a whole new more efficient and safe element), or the suits being weak enough that badguys could easily knock them off Stark's body.
The final results are that it is cool enough to survive, but it is greatly weakened for pretty much no reason.
