Very accessible comic book movie for general audiences, but with enough nods to its comic book roots for fanboys as well. Without becoming campy or condescending to audiences, Iron Man delivers a straight forward plot with competent acting and directing; firmly entrenching itself as a summer blockbuster to kick off the season.
