Review of Iron Man (2008) by Dakota P — 29 May 2014
Strong direction and an outstanding lead performance, guide this Marvel superhero adaptation to stardom. Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) is every ounce as egotistical as he is intelligent, and at various moments, he's both.
While altogether riveting and suspenseful, Stark seems to be a more than capable mastermind. However, he is consistently one move away form doing something completely insane or something utterly brilliant.
Which one will it be? Nobody can really tell. One thing is certain, Stark seems so out of control, he might actually be in control.
