The first of Marvel Studios' self financed, interlocking films (which will later be known as the "Marvel Cinematic Universe"), Iron Man is an impressive, well-made superhero feature that's built on careful improvisation between the talented cast and crew and introduced us to the brilliant, arrogant and all around charismatic Tony Stark ( a role that resurrected and redefined Robert Downey, Jr's career).
