Review of Iron Man (2008) by Sam D — 16 May 2016
Seeing this at the cinema with my dad was an absolute blast. Robert Downey Junior is so effortlessly entertaining here, approaching Jack Sparrow Tom foolery, but never crossing the line into that sort of campiness, and despite the humor there is a palpable edge to it all.
A guys movie with smarts and heart, a rarity for sure!
