Review of Iron Man 2 (2010) by Joe N — 08 Jan 2015
Not as memorable as the first Iron Man, but still fun. At this point, Tony has blown his cover and is famous for being Iron Man, bold for a super hero, but I guess you can only keep your identity a secret for so long before it becomes obvious.
(Cough cough Batman, Superman, Spiderman) Unlike those three, Tony clearly likes the attention, and much like he was in the first film, Tony is still the wise cracking comedian that keeps us entertained even when there's no action taking place.
Here, we're also introduced to the villain Whiplash, and a Tony Stark wanna-be named Justin Hammer, we're also introduced to one of Iron Man's sidekicks War Machine (not sure how he got the hang of the suit so quickly but I digress) We're also introduced to Shield members Nick Fury, and the very hot Black Widow.
I thought, Pepper Potts was a more annoying in this one, But it doesn't hurt the film too much. This film featured a lot fo great fun action scenes. Robert Downey Jr. just owns the Role, he was born to play Iron Man/Tony Stark.
overall though, like I said, not as memorable as the first Iron man, but still fun.
