Story: As Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) owns up to being Iron Man before the world press, Anton Vanko lies dying in Russia. Years ago, Anton worked with Tony's father to create a new source of energy. But greed got the best of Anton, and now as he slips away, his son, Ivan (Mickey Rourke), vows to make Tony pay for the sins of his father. Meanwhile, Tony fends off efforts from smarmy Senator Stern (Garry Shandling) and military weapons expert Justin Hammer (Sam Rockwell) to get him to divulge the secrets of his powerful Iron Man suit. The powers that be are concerned that Tony's technology may fall into the wrong hands -- fears that are soon confirmed when the cocky billionaire entrepreneur is confronted in front of the entire world by Ivan, who has built his own weapon using stolen Stark blueprints. Later, as Lt. Rhodes (Don Cheadle) wrestles with the decision to personally deliver Tony's suit to the military, Ivan finds an unlikely ally in the quest to destroy Iron Man; Stark Industries legal consultant Natalie Rushman (Scarlett Johansson) reveals her connection to Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson); and Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) takes on some new responsibilities.

Cast.

Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark / Iron Man - Once again Downey kills it as Stark / Iron Man, he is Iron Man I can't see anyone play him.

Gwyneth Paltrow as Virginia "Pepper" Potts - once agan still good, and damsel in distressed.

Don Cheadle as Lt. Col. James "Rhodey" Rhodes / War Machine - I wasn't sold on him yet until the end 2 fights and he became a badass but he brought more to the character than Terrance Howard did.

Scarlett Johansson as Natalie Rushman / Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow - MY GOD is Scarlett is hot, she was a badass at the end, but of course was forced in just to tie in to say oh The Avengers movie is coming.

Sam Rockwell as Justin Hammer - I LOVE SAM ROCKWELL he is fantastic as the villain I really wish he would come back to the series.

Mickey Rourke as Ivan Vanko / Whiplash/ Crimson Dynamo /??? - I have no ideawhat a bland weak villain.

Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury - really wasn't needed but oh well still great.

Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan - Great.

Clark Glegg as Phil Coulson - now hes worth being in this movie.

Overall: I really felt this movie took a step back from the first movie with a villain and Stark being drunk and a asshole even though thats his character.

Soundtrack is amazing though all AC/DC.

Overall Grade: C+.
