Review of Iron Man 2 (2010) by Brian G — 15 May 2016
The armored adventures of Tony Stark accelerate on and it is a little bit of a step back from the original movie like outdated technology per se, but not entirely obsolete. Iron Man 2 welcomes Tony Stark as he enjoys his newfound fame, while staring death in the face thanks to overuse of his palladium arc reactor.
Rhodey also dons a brand new suit, while the SHIELD gang composed of Nick Fury, Agent Coulson, and the beautiful, but deadly Black Widow come to assist the iron genius from self-destructing. And who could ever forget the newly appointed CEO of Stark Industries: Ms.
Pepper Potts, who is once again dragged into Tony's mess. This sequel offers plenty of action, explosions, and so-so villains; however, the end result is somewhat a less intelligent approach to the Invincible Iron Man.
