Iron Man 2 certainly isn't the finest in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which might be due to the sequel's favor of gimmicky marketing and style over substance. But it's not disappointing either, especially when Robert Downey Jr is in charge of the film.
The subjective finished product has a divided impact on filmgoers, whether you're casual or a longtime Marvel diehard, which many'll dismiss and many will praise.
