Review of Iron Man (1931) by Branden #2 M — 29 Mar 2015
Iron Man is an excellent start for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Robert Downey Jr. is fantastic in this and definitely pulls it off as Iron Man/Tony Stark. Jeff Bridges is amazing and plays his different role very intimidating, making him the best part of the movie.
The effects are amazing, and the supporting cast are great. The script is really good, and has a lot of smart moments. The chemistry between Pepper and Tony is really good, and the soundtrack is cool.
It's really funny, and the post credit scene is amazing. The designs of the suits look really cool, and the battle scenes are exciting to watch. The characters are very memorable, and so are the villains too.
Jon Favreau did a great job directing Iron Man and this is what comic book movies master to this day, they make it really fun and don't make it overly serious like the past comic book movies.
