Review of Iron Jawed Angels (2004) by Trisha W — 29 Sep 2008

I was in total shock throughout the film. I never had a clue of this struggle that our American women before us. The film was absolutely inspiring and made a huge impact on my life. I already intended to vote in the next election, but now I feel like I have to, since it was just such a moving piece.

The story was incredible and the acting was well potrayed too. The direction and visuals, especially in jail were incredible. The entire film just moved me to know what a fight these females had to do for the betterment of the future world.

The only issue I had with this movie was the "naughty" scene, which I felt completely distracted from the film. Not that I don't believe it didn't happen, but I just didn't see the point of including it in the movie.

But other than that, an incredible film.
