Review of Ip Man (2008) by Michiel H — 02 Dec 2012
While Ip Man doesn't have much to offer in the acting department, it does blend a nice story with interesting characters. What stands out about the film - and the reason why I watched it - is its fight scenes, which burst with energy I haven't witnessed since watching Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.
It's far from a masterpiece, but I was still very satisfied with the film's end result.
