A classic of the martial arts genre is one distant from any other genre in that conventionality is part of its etiquette and its very singular makeup. Given that, and thus embracing its conformity to martial arts etiquette, Ip Man is an exciting, often invigorating classic.
And against traditional interpretations of "conformity," it's fresh, as well.
