Review of Ip Man (2008) by Joao F — 17 Dec 2011
Donnie is incredible and the IP man films are his crowning glory. The story is exagerated in the usual Hong Kong style of martial arts film but whats not to love about a simple humble man who is quielty an awesome martial artist who is forced to unleash mega ass kicking against racial prejudice.
The sets are great and it feels like hong kong or the canton province in general. Impressive choreography to rival any martial arts film with enough history a story to keep anyone interested. I cant fault this film. This is one for the fanboys to keep hold of as this is well under the radar.
