Review of Ip Man (2008) by Mohammed I — 14 Jan 2012
One of the better chinese movies out there.Donnie Yen is perfect as the cool martial arts master who seems composed and never blows his lid no matter how bad the situation gets.What helps the movie is is its propogation of the fact that martial arts is the national past time in China.
The first 15 minutes seem forced.After that the movie settles down to the adequate pace required for the narration.
