Excellent action/martial arts bio pic. Based (loosely?) on the life of Wing Chun grandmaster Ip Man, who would later go on to teach (among others) Bruce Lee. Beautifully shot. Martial arts purists may chafe that it is shot more like a Hollywood action pic than a traditional martial arts film, and those looking for historical accuracy are best served going elsewhere.
Regardless, it is extremely entertaining and very well done. Well worth a look. Good stuff,.
