Review of Ip Man (2008) by David G — 07 Jul 2014
Not the greatest martial arts film out there, but still had some awesome fighting. A few of the shots involved some punches and kicks, that were some of the best I've seen. The film's good because of the fact that it's based off the real life Kung Fu Master Ip Man, and watching his tale was a kung fu fighting treat.
It's not just about Kung fu or fighting, which is what makes it good... Old school Jackie Chan would make this even better, but Donnie Yen does just fine playing the master.
