Nothing amazing about this movie. I think it was sort of a throw-away Dinsey picture because they knew it was a can't miss story. Sadly, it just never enthralled me as a viewer. In a lot of ways the story of Vince Papale is similar to Daniel "Rudy" Ruettiger, but instead there was no real sense of triumph in this film.
Really a shame, I'm sure Papale felt like a success at some point. (Not entirely sold on Kinnear as Vermiel, either, not that I didn't enjoy him, though.).
