Review of Invincible (2006) by Jelani B — 26 Apr 2012
Mark Wahlberg sells this story, not because of his size, but his down-to-earth spirit and enthusiam for the story. I don't think this story could happen in any other town. Philly loved "Rocky" like heroes.
I read the Eagles enclopedia and he only made one catch as a wide receiver. He made plays on special teams and won hearts. Great for sports fans, be it father/son/daughter. A feel good story for all. Hookey for some and not for non-sports fans.
A true story, Hollywood style.
