Review of Invincible (2001) by Maksim B — 05 Nov 2008
It is totally predictable and chiched, but it is presented in a such a way that you could only enjoy these 104 minutes. The whole cast and the director have obviously made this movie with all the fan devotion and inspiration they could have gained from this game.
This movie is without any doubt a well done and full of heart family movie, which will touch everyone with its sincerity and simplicity. The fact that this is a totally true story only makes the movie more realistic and shows that dreams can come true. Some might say that it lacks imagination, but actually this is what makes it truly realistic and touching....
Apart from this, Mark Wahlberg and Greg Kinnear's performance should not be left unappreciated. Both of them manage to get perfectly in their roles and to show some outstanding acting, so untypical for this genre of movies.
