Review of Invincible (2001) by Nathan R — 03 Dec 2008
Call me a sentimental fool, but I love this movie. Based on the real story of Vince Papale, a 30 year old substitute teacher who tried out for the Philadelphia Eagles and, against all expectations, made it to a regular in the first team.
Mark Wahlberg plays Papale, Philadelphia is the perfect setting for this feel-good, working-class real fairytale story.
