Invincible is yet another feel good inspiring true story about an underdog who succeeds at doing something big. The story is about Philadelphia Eagles fan Vince Papale who has a chance to become a player of the Eagles after Eagles coach Dick Vermeil holds open try outs.

Invincible as a film doesn't do anything new to the already familiar "inspiring" film formula, but it's still nonetheless a good film to watch. The acting is fairly good, and the story is still very engaging despite it's the type of story we've seen a hundred times before.

The film does manage to make the viewer root for Vince Papale as realizes his dream and you feel good by the time the credits role. But like I said, it navigates the usual territory that all "inspiring' films take.

The film is unfortunately predictable, and you know right off the bat that it will end on a high note. That's the only problem with these films, is that they to be the same, and all of them are predictable.

But they always tend to be effective at entertaining you, and in the end, that's what counts. Though it's predictable, the story and acting are terrific, and this is a memorable feel good film that everyone, especially Football fans will enjoy.

There are some solid performances by Mark Wahlberg and Greg Kinnear. Invincible may not do anything new, but it manages to a worthwhile view nonetheless. A well made film that can inspire anyone.
