Review of Invictus (2009) by Isabella B — 25 May 2011
It's a good story featuring Nelson Mandela and the Springboks (South America's predominantly white rugby team) and how Mandela helps the country overcome racism and discrimination towards each other by uniting them in the fierce competition of rugby during the World Cup.
It's a powerful statement but it lacked an emotional attachment to the characters in my opinion.
