Review of Invictus (2009) by Diane D — 11 Feb 2011

Invictus is brilliantly directed and acted. matt damon gives us a decent performance and morgan freeman plays the role of nelson mendella to near perfection. I would have rated this film higher, but I felt like many scenes and parts of this movie were either unnessasary, or just plain dull and boring.

at first I thought this was a soccer movie, but unfortunately it was a rugby movie. both damon and freeman give convincing and commanding performances, but thats all I can say about film. it has some really good parts, but towards the end I couldn't seem to keep my eyes open.
