Review of Investigation of a Citizen Above Suspicion (1970) by Matty S — 06 Dec 2013
Dark and cynical comedy that is every bit as vital today as it must have been in 1970. There is a degree of hamminess to some of the performances. But other than that, this is a great film. In addition, the film features a memorable score from Ennio Morricone.
Criterion has just issued a beautiful 4K restoration of this film.
