An excellent remake of the 1956 sci-fi classic, which moves the action to 1970's San Francisco. Makes great use of character development and crowded urban settings to increase the overall sense of paranoia, with special effects lending a helping hand in adding that "Ew Factor" the audiences at the time wanted.
A terrific and entertaining picture.
