Review of Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978) by Caleb M — 21 Feb 2008

A very creepy and tense remake that is just as watchable as the first, although I still prefer the original. The cast is excellent, Sutherland, Goldblum and Nimoy are great, and the effects and makeup are disgusting and realistic.

I wasn't sure if the ending would be as stunning and frightening as the original's, but it managed to really shock me. This is a sci-fi/horror film that is really about life and how we aren't simply here to "survive" but to feel emotions, both love and hate.
