One of my most beloved films ever and I saw it wayyyyy late. Others have profusely immitated it (Invaders from Mars, The Invasion and many others) however none have come close to being on par with this film.
The ending is absolutely brilliant and if the rest of the film was terrible, the ending would be enough to give it at least 4 and 1/2 stars. This movie kicks ass.
