Review of Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978) by Ian S — 30 Oct 2010
Overlong, overrated and dated as all hell (late-70s Californian pop culture bleeds into the whole thing, it even has an experimental jazz fusion soundtrack) Invasion Of The Body Snatchers is worth checking out for its idiosyncratic weirdness (dog with human face!), that crazy soundtrack, the assured, detached direction and downbeat feel and most of all, really, to tick a box to say you've seen Donald Sutherland, Jeff Goldblum and Leonard Nimoy in the same film.
