Review of Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978) by Senor C — 30 Jun 2011

After having such a shit pile of remakes over the pasgt 10 years it's hard to remember a time when they were any good. A few good ones actually did come out in the 70s & 80s & Invasion of the Body Snatcher is one of them.

Now I wouldn't put it on the level as the original which believe it or not freaked out this jadded cina-freak but mostly do to a good cast it's more then watchable. I can't complain w/ Donald Sutherland, Leonard Nimony & even Jeff Goldbulm carrying the weight it's concept might feel a little dated from source matterial from the 50s but it's sorta like a high end b-movie.

The airy squeal is unnerving.
