To wrap my opinion of this film into one word, bland. I never found myself invested enough to care about the characters and the sub-par acting didn't help either. The film starts out somewhat intriguing making me wonder what's going to happen and what will lead to what.

I think parallel storytelling of two characters having the same fear/nightmare is cool. The twist at the end I didn't really see coming, I guess? I don't I figured it out a little bit before, we the audience, are exposed to it.

The CGI is meh. But I do like some of the lighting when we're in Madrid with the Spanish kids story. I don't know, just bland film that I probably won't rewatch. One more thing, I don't think the director does a good job creating a scary atmosphere at all.

I wasn't scared at all. I felt like I was just staring at moving pictures for 1hr and 40 mins.
