Review of Intolerable Cruelty (2003) by Zen K — 11 Apr 2010
Far from being vintage Coens, and indeed it's easy to forget their involvement, but bear with it, because it occasionally does have glimpses of their hands behind the scenes. Zeta-Jones is as charisma-free as she is in pretty much everything she's done (Chicago excluded).
On the other hand, if you don't agree that Clooney is one of the most effortlessly watchable stars in Hollywood today, then frankly I'm not interested in any opinion you care to express. Forget it's a Coens movie, and you should find enough to enjoy in its lightweight shennanigans.
