Review of Intolerable Cruelty (2003) by Ariel S — 19 May 2008
Coens do mainstream. Yeah, it's not their best, but it's not their worst (Ladykillers). A fluffy-ish romantic comedy with flashes of Coen weirdness, memorable characters (Herb, Weezy Joe, Hans the Baron Krauss von Espy), more turns than the Pacific Coast Highway, and great chemistry between Clooney and the impossibly good looking Zeta Jones.
Also, a Bruce Campbell cameo.
