Review of Intolerable Cruelty (2003) by Elliot G — 05 Sep 2008
This movie sort of a got a bad reputation for being a 'mainstream' Coen Bros. film, and it is very unlike anything else they've done, but judging it on its own terms, there are some things to like: the screwball comedy elements, Geoffrey Rush, even George Clooney are all worth watching.
The script lags significantly every twenty minutes or so, but there's enough there to recommend for a decent, unassuming movie-watching time.
