Leave it to the Coen Brothers to follow up their acclaimed and highly original (for being based on "The Odyssey" anyway) "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" with an homage to slapstick romantic comedies from the golden age of cinema, In lesser hands this could have been a disaster, but the Coens show they can even bring out originality and fresh laughs out of the oldest genres,.
