Review of Into the Woods (2014) by Alecvl08 — 02 Jan 2015

This movical has a stellar first act, but loses its drive after the first hour. The music is absolutely extraordinary, and there is moment after sweet musical moment throughout the movie. The singers bring the voices, but the pacing is uneven and the film loses its muster after the first half is finished.

The first act is filled with constant singing, but towards the end the movie seems to want to rely more on dialogue and therefore begins to bore the heck out of the audience. Good overall, though.
