Review of Into the Woods (2014) by Mia W — 27 May 2016
I watched this movie not knowing it was a musical. And I hate hate hate musicals. I would forgive the constant annoying singing had the movie made a lick of sense. It's like, let's slap a whole bunch of random fairy tales that don't belong together in the same movie and hope their stories align.
This is not a kids movie. It's basically a play (it really is a play) that's filmed a movie. So if you like plays, singing, artsy-fartsy movies, you'll probably enjoy this. I wanted to shoot myself the second the singing started.
