Bernadette Peters' performance is so compelling I'd dare say she beguiles you into loving the whole thing. And it's worth it, too: expert storytelling, beautiful vocals, catchy music and a powerful message that wraps up perfectly in the end.
Makes you really think about fairy tales and what they mean.
