After seeing this live, I was ecstatic to find this on the shelf at a local store. An excellent recording of a great musical. Joanna Gleason and Chip Zien make a great baking duo. I'm sure many will not agree with my next statement, but Bernadette Peters did not do it for me.
I like Vanessa William's interpretation of the witch in the revival much better, which unfortunately was not filmed, legally. However, this is an excellent watch!
