Review of Into the Wild (2007) by Martind. — 18 Feb 2008
This movie is much too long. The lead character's exuberance was intermittently engaging, but none of the other characters came to life. There was no plot; the story of the rambling adventures of Alexander Supertramp went repeatedly to Alaska but didn't arrive anywhere else.
The movie sorely needed a script-writer and an editor. I wish the bear had killed Chris/Alex and brought an end to this tedium sooner.
