Review of Into the Wild (2007) by Mark N — 04 Apr 2012
Proof that a good story with solid acting talent can make the simplest of scenarios highly watchable. The movies human story fills its long running time with ease and was delightfully whimsical. Penn wisely uses nature to his advantage and gains a vast amount from the vistas and allowing the casts to revel and work the scenery.
True there is little depth here but it hardly matters when you identify and connect with the protagonist so well.
