So this is what it might be like, to ditch everything and live off the wilderness and the kindness of others. I can sorta relate to the story, having once put the rat race on hold for a cross country road trip.
That's where the similarities end. This guy is hardcore. Director Sean Penn does an amazing job of exposing the main characters heart and root of his motivation without sacrificing the thrill of the adventure he's on.
Moving story, convincing acting and beautifully filmed. One of my new favorites. Inspiring!
