It's a rarity for a film to be better than the source material, but Into the Wild manages just that. Sean Penn crafted a remarkable movie. Emile Hirsch's portrayal of our protagonist combined with beautiful imagery and perfect soundtrack courtesy of Eddie Vedder, elevate this film to another level.
