Review of Into the Storm (2014) by Evan W — 31 Aug 2014
I walked into this movie entirely set on it being no more than a 2 based on previews. The good news, it was better than expected. Unfortunately, it did have some major room for improvement.
This movie, like many of the others recently released, is built around the concept of people shooting it with handhelds and camera phones. It works okay for this movie, and the concept remains consistent throughout the movie.
The actor that played the father was horrible, but it was good to see "Lorrie" from The Walking Dead back on a screen.
The graphics were much better than expected. The storyline was spread out over too many characters though... For example, the "comic relief" characters served more as a distraction than a contribution to the movie.
