Review of Into the Storm (2014) by Bradley M — 29 Mar 2015
Into the Storm was your typical disaster movie but what made it different was that it all was filmed in the handheld, cell phone camera style. That fact made it unique but it did not necessarily make it a good movie.
The best thing about this was the special effects and the destruction that the tornadoes and the wind do. The scenes when the major tornadoes hit were awesome and a spectacle to see on screen. The rest of this movie was very weak unfortunately.
The characters were unforgettable, the relationships and emotions they tried to portray were weak and the story was just bland and plain. If you like destruction and amazing special effects you will find something to enjoy here but that is all there is to enjoy in this modern day version of Twister.
