Review of Into the Storm (2014) by Fleshworld — 12 Aug 2014
Much like the Burt Reynolds character in boogie nights, i've always wondered why Pornos don't have legitimate acting sequences prior to the goods. In the same way, I can't figure out why these found footage movies have such terrible beginnings.
I mean the disaster sequences in the second half of this film are pretty darned impressive. But the introduction is just so repugnant that I can't imagine anyone wanting to last past the first 30 minutes or so.
And Walsh. I can't figure out why he took all of his stored up goodwill from the TV show Veep and tried to use it on this relative disaster.
